What to Bring

Salt Cay is laid back and informal... you'll need sunscreen, your dive, snorkeling or fishing gear, books (the Balfour Town Public Library does loan books to visitors), a couple of bathing suits, a hat, shirts and shorts. Bring sturdy shoes and long pants if you plan to hike in the bush.  There are three small stores on the island that can supply you with juice, coffee, water, eggs, potatoes, canned goods, chicken, hot dogs, etc. or plan a shopping trip to Grand Turk on the Government Boat to pick up other goods.
